BYUtv hosted special screening events for Making Good episodes San Diego Chill and Music Mends Minds throughout California.

The first event, which featured a screening of the San Diego Chill episode followed by a Q&A with Kirby, took place at Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Del Mar in San Diego on Wednesday, March 8.

In attendance was San Diego Chill founder Isaiah Granet, who took part in the Q&A along with Kirby and other members of the San Diego Chill team, who have dedicated their lives to bringing the magic of skating and ice hockey to children of all ages with developmental disabilities. Kirby and Isaiah reflected on their time together filming the exciting episode while emphasizing the heart and dedication that fuels San Diego Chill.

The second event, which took place on Friday, March 10 in Los Angeles at the Sepulveda Screening Room, featured a screening of the much-anticipated Music Mends Minds episode along with a musical performance from Kirby. During the Q&A, Kirby was joined by Music Mends Minds founder Carol Rosenstein, who began creating musical support groups for people with neurocognitive disorders like Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and related dementias after her husband’s diagnosis. The pair discussed their excitement for the upcoming episode to touch the lives and hearts of individuals all over the country.

Both events had great turnouts, with each audience filled with smiles and tears. Event go-ers were able to chat with the crew, stock up on Making Good swag, and catch special performances from Kirby.
